Hi,
I am a resident of Cabatuan living abroad but my family still resides there. Its nice to see that a small town like Cabatuan has a website. I just have few suggestions as my father is a small farmer there. I want to know what the municipal officers do to control the rice prices. Most Rice Mills in cabatuan are owned by Chinese businessman. I wonder if the municipality is doing a scheduled calibration for the weighing scales of each ricemills to ensure that there is no Curruption or Cheating done by these Businessmans.
My suggestions are:
1. The Mayor should ensure that all Ricemills weiging scales (TIMBANGAN) are calibrated in a scheduled intervals. It can be Annualy or
Once every 2 years, etc.
2. A calibration Sticker or label should be attached or put near the weiging scale so that every farmer that will sell his harvest
will see that the Weighing Scales (TIMBANGAN) are properly calibrated. The sticker or label should include the Date of Calibration
and the Next date of calibration. This way, all farmers in cabatuan will become confident that "walang DAYA" sa mga timbangan. This
is a good way to protect small farmers in our beloved town.
Most resident of Cabatuan are farmers and own a very small piece of land. Ang pagbebentahan lang nila ng ani nila ang inaasahan nila and thats twice a year only.
What more if we are talking of hundred of cavans na
I hope the our Mayor for nearly 2 decades will think about this for the sake of our Small Farmers.

SOME DRIVERS DO NOT FOLLOW AND THAT WILL GIVE DANGER TO INDIVIDUAL... NEED TO PUT A BARRICADE IN BETWEEN (DIRECTION GOING TO THE MARKET OF CABATUAN) SO THAT DRIVERS WILL FOLLOW. I BELIEVE THAT THIS MORE SAFE AND IT WILL AVOID DANGER, THEN WE SAVE LIFE AT THE SAME TIME.
I AM HAPPY TO DONATE SOME OF THAT BARRICADE...PLEASE POST TO THIS WEBSITE IF HOW MUCH IT COST...
HOPE THIS WILL BE DONE IN PROGRESS.

Follow-up (personal note: Just wanna take this opportunity to thank you again from the bottom of my heart Mayor Dayrit, for providing me your free medical services when I was still a 9-year old child. While playing with friends around our house, I stepped on a piece of wood with a sticking rusted nail which caused lots of pain then. I think, my big brother Roger took me immediately to your old clinic and you smilingly rendered me medical help and humored me saying 'malayo pa sa utak ito'.Which made me stopped crying and felt better.
From knowing you as a kid then, I knew that you are great guy and I'd like to say this.... tunay kang hulog ng langit para sa Cabatuan at sa lahat ng mga taong naka-paligid sa iyo. I bet that you will be the 1st Hall-of-Fame mayor of Cabatuan if not in the province of Isabela and I mean it..!! Idol ka kuma ah...

If I may, I would like to ask a favor to CENITA M. CARIAGA if she happened to know any Cariaga in Alicia to please contact me at my email address. Thanks, Lory Cariaga

Together, we Cabatuanenses, will show the world what we're made of, what we're capable of. Let us not cease until we have reached this goal: One Town, One People under God, One Vision, with opportunity for all.
Rest assured that the youth of Cabatuan are not complacent. When our time comes, we will be more than ready to continue adding up chapters to the enduring story our Founders began.
Let us remember: This is our destiny. This is our moment!

This site really affirms the nostalgic fact that 'home is where the heart is'. Thanks to the advent of the internet -- CABATUAN will now just be a click away to Cabatuanenses like us who have temporarily left the 'kabalangigan of Macanao' for a greener pasture ( though ironically, I found mine in a rather arid desert, hehe )
But one thing is definite: I WILL ALWAYS CALL CABATUAN MY HOME!
Air kiss then to all the men and women behind this website –you have arrived!
But forgive my bias and personal reservations in taking this opportunity to thank my impeccably honorable and esteemed Iluko writer, EIC of Anaraar and undefeated public servant, uncle FRANKLIN ("BOY" to us, his relatives) MACUGAY for his passionate historical and literary contributions in the pages of Anaraar –a reverberating chronicle of the customs and traditions of Cabatuan.

My husband, Mai Academia (who happens to be the nephew-in-law of Mrs. Cynthia Acosta Camacho, the daughter of Nana Andeng and Tata Maso Acosta) is so eager to see Cabatuan, as well!
Congratulations to our Tito, Mayor Jun Dayrit for making Cabatuan what it is today-- very progressive! Regards also to our cousin, Troy Miano, who is also very active with the workings of the Local Government.

If we have the land of promise in Mindanao, we too have land of Grains in Luzon.
Congratulations to the Municipality of Cabatuan, Isabela. With your web presence is a huge window to the world, bridging the digital divide with all your constituent here and abroad, and your gateway to progress. Our agency, the National Computer Center of the Commission of Information and Communication Technology has been assisting LGU's nationwide in establishing their online presence on the web, setting a government web standard centering on the needs of each and every constituent in providing ONLINE goverment service. Special thanks to Prince Claudio, from EyeworksPlus Web Studio Design for patiently assisting our LGU's in Region 02 in creating thier website and with his untiring, enduring compliance with the required web standard for LGU's and government agencies. Another masterpiece Prince, more power! To Ms. Eva Manibog, without her persistent to make this dream a real story, history and soon a legacy, hail for a nice job. And ofcourse to Mayor Dayrit, being proud of your municipality by showing your pride to the world through the world wide web is a reflection of an admirable leader, Sir, I commend you for another milestone. From the Natioanl Computer Center, again Congratulations and Welcome Cabatuan to cyberspace.
